Scheels

Complete guide on our Scheels module

Our Scheels module supports both monitoring and automated checkout using a true first come, first serve (FCFS) flow. Because restocks can sell out quickly, success on Scheels depends on fast monitoring, stable proxies, and proper monitor-to-checkout pairing.

Stellar supports watch task workflows and multi-variant checkout for size-based products, allowing users to efficiently target multiple sizes without creating extra checkout tasks. This module is best suited for sports cards, footwear, apparel, and limited-release items that restock without warning.

With the right setup, Scheels can be a consistent and reliable site for securing high-demand products.

(For members who want a fast setup without reading everything)

  1. Create and save your Profile with correct billing, shipping, and payment information.

  2. Add ISP proxies for monitoring and Residential proxies for checkout under the Proxies tab.

  3. Create Monitor Mode tasks using the base SKU for each product you want to run.

  4. Create Normal Mode (Checkout) tasks for the same products and enable Watch Task.

  5. If the product has size variants, enter multiple variants comma-separated in the Checkout task.

    • Use base SKU only for cards or non-sized items.

  6. Set delays between 4000–6000 and Reset Delay around 5000.

  7. Start Monitor tasks first, then start Checkout tasks and confirm they show “Waiting for Monitor”.

  8. Before major restocks or releases, run a test task on an in-stock item to verify profiles, proxies, and delays.

Preliminary Checklist

Before setting up tasks on Scheels, make sure you have everything below prepared:

Create and save your checkout profiles under the Profiles tab in Stellar. These contain your billing, shipping and payment info.

  • ISP proxies – Recommended for some of your tasks

  • Residential proxies – Recommended for majority of your tasks

    • Save both proxy groups under the Proxies tab in Stellar.

Optional but recommended. Your cook grouparrow-up-right can help you find product URLs, SKUs and early restock alerts.

Task Overview

Monitor mode

Normal mode

What Mode Should I Use?

Monitor Mode

  • Monitor Mode only checks for product availability.

  • When an item restocks, your Monitor Mode tasks will ping your running Watch Tasks (Normal Mode) to add to cart and checkout.

Normal Mode

  • Normal Mode is your checkout task.

  • These tasks handle add to cart and checkout once triggered by a Monitor task (if Watch Task is enabled) or can monitor and checkout on their own if Watch Task is disabled.

Profile Selection

Select the Profile you want to use.

  • The billing, shipping, and payment information from this profile will be used during checkout.

Proxy Recommendations

Both ISP and Residential proxies work well on Scheels.

  • ISPs are ideal for monitoring

  • Residentials are recommended for checkout

If you need reliable proxies, check out Stella Proxies for high quality ISP and Residential options.

Finding the SKU (Important)

Scheels SKUs are found in the Image URL, not the Product URL.

Steps to find the SKU:

  1. Go to the product page

  2. Select the color (if applicable)

  3. Ensure the item is one size only (no size dropdown)

  4. Right-click the product image

  5. Click Open image in new tab

  6. Copy the SKU from the Image URL

Example:

  • Image URL: https://scheels.scene7.com/is/image/Scheels/04160439437?wid=1000&hei=1000

  • SKU: 04160439437

Multi-Variant Support (Checkout Tasks Only)

Scheels now supports Multi-Variant input for Checkout Tasks on products that have size variants.

How this works:

  • Monitor Tasks

    • Always use the base SKU

  • Checkout (Normal Mode) Tasks

    • You may input multiple size variants, separated by commas

    • No need to create separate checkout tasks for each size

Important notes:

  • This is only for size variants

  • Variants must belong to one product only

  • You cannot mix variants from different products

Examples:

  • Shoes

    • Monitor Task → Base SKU

    • Checkout Task → Multiple size variants (comma-separated)

  • Cards / Non-Sized Items

    • Monitor Task → Base SKU

    • Checkout Task → Base SKU

Max Price

Monitor Mode

  • Enter the max price per single item

  • Example:

    • Item retails at $29 → Enter 35

Normal Mode

  • Enter the max total order price, including quantity

  • Example:

    • Monitor price: 35

    • Quantity: 10

    • Normal Mode Max Price: 350

Quantity (QTY)

  • A safe default is 1

  • Your cookgroup should provide you with exact QTY recommendations based on product

  • Increase quantity only if the site allows multiple units per order

Delay Recommendations

  • Recommended delay range: 4000 – 6000

  • Adjust based on proxy quality and site behavior

Reset Delay

Reset Delay controls how long (in milliseconds) a Monitor task waits before restarting after detecting a restock.

  • Recommended value: ~5000

Watch Task Option

Watch Tasks

  • Do not monitor the site themselves

  • Wait for Monitor Mode tasks to detect a restock

  • Once pinged, they immediately add to cart and checkout

Non-Watch Tasks

  • Monitor the site directly

  • Use proxies continuously

  • Add to cart and checkout on their own

Best practice:

  • Use Monitor Mode + Normal Mode (Watch Task enabled) for better performance and fewer proxy bans.
