### Preliminary Checklist
Before setting up tasks on Hot Topic, make sure you have everything below prepared:
* **Profiles**
> Create and save your checkout [profiles](https://guides.stellaraio.com/stellar/navigating-stellaraio/what-is-the-profiles-tab/how-do-i-add-a-profile) under the **Profiles tab** in Stellar. These contain your billing, shipping and payment info.
* **Proxies**
> - High-quality **ISP** or **Residential** proxies are required.
> - Low-quality or flagged proxies will cause **Akamai-related errors.**
> - For reliable performance, consider using **Stella Proxies ISPs or Residentials.**
> * If you're looking for proxies, check out [Stella Proxies](https://guides.stellaraio.com/stellar/getting-started-with-stellaraio/stella-proxies) for high quality ISP and Residential proxies.
* **Cook Group Access**
> Optional but recommended. Your [cook group](https://guides.stellaraio.com/stellar/getting-started-with-stellaraio/cook-groups) can help you find product URLs, SKUs and early restock alerts.
### Adding Sessions
To add your HotTopic accounts to Stellar please follow the step by step instructions below
1. In bot, navigate to **Sessions** tab then click on **HotTopic**
2. Click **Add Session** button
3. Enter your account email and password

### **Monitor Mode**
* What **mode** do I use?
* **Normal mode** uses guest checkout or account checkout. Works for all products that are loaded on the site
* **Monitor mode** will allow you to monitor any product on HT and will alert your Normal mode watch tasks as long as the SKU is the same
* Monitor mode is optional, you can run Normal mode alone if you'd like
* What does **Profile** mean?
* Select a **Profile** you want to use and that profile information will be used when checking out items
* What type of **Proxies** should I use?
* ISPs for monitoring and residentials for checkout tasks
* If you're looking for proxies, check out [Stella Proxies](/stellar/getting-started-with-stellaraio/proxies.md) for high quality ISP and Residential proxies
* Where do I find **SKU**?
* SKU can be found in the product URL. It will be towards the end of the URL
* Ex. the SKU is **1675190**
* What is a good **QTY** to use?
* It's best to check with your [cookgroup](/stellar/getting-started-with-stellaraio/cook-groups.md) for quantity recommendations as different products may have different purchase limits set by the site
* Stellar does not automatically adjust the quantity if you set a number higher than what's allowed
* What **Delays** should I use?
* **Monitor Delay** of **0** is recommended. HT doesn't ratelimit
* **Retry Delays** around 500 is recommended. This delay would allow you a chance to catch restocks as soon as they drop and not completely expose your proxies
* What is **Session**?
* This option will allow you to select which [sessions](#adding-sessions) you want to use
* What is a **Watch Task** and should I select it?
* **Watch Tasks** waits until another source to ping it to trigger to attempt to add to cart. In this case with Hot Topic, your Monitor mode tasks will notify your Normal mode watch tasks when that specific product has restocked. The monitor task product needs to be identical to the normal mode product.
* The benefits of using watch tasks are 1) You'll use less proxy data as watch tasks do not use proxies while in Waiting status and 2) You'll be using less proxies overall which will reduce proxies being detected from the site.
