### Preliminary Checklist

Before setting up tasks on Kohls, make sure you have everything below prepared:

* **Profiles**

> Create and save your checkout [profiles](https://guides.stellaraio.com/stellar/navigating-stellaraio/what-is-the-profiles-tab/how-do-i-add-a-profile) under the **Profiles tab** in Stellar. These contain your billing, shipping and payment info.

* **Proxies**

> - High-quality **ISP** or **Residential** proxies are required.
> - Low-quality or flagged proxies will cause **Akamai-related errors.**
> - For reliable performance, consider using **Stella Proxies ISPs or Residentials.**

* **Cook Group Access**

> Optional but recommended. Your [cook group](https://guides.stellaraio.com/stellar/getting-started-with-stellaraio/cook-groups) can help you find product URLs, SKUs and early restock alerts.

### Guest mode

* What **Mode** do I use?
  * **Monitor mode** will allow you to monitor products on <https://www.kohls.com/> your monitor tasks will ping your guest mode tasks that have the Watch Task checkbox checked
  * **Guest mode** will allow you to guest checkout products from <https://www.kohls.com/> using your profile information
* What does **Profile** mean?
  * Select a **Profile** you want to use and that profile information will be used when checking out items
* What type of **Proxies** should I use?
  * ISPs are recommended but Resis will work as well
    * If you're looking for proxies, check out [Stella Proxies](https://help.stellaraio.com/stellar/getting-started-with-stellaraio/stella-proxies) for high quality ISP and Residential proxies
* What do I enter for **URL**?
  * Copy and paste the **Product Page URL**. Make sure you're not pasting any unwanted characters or spaces
    * For example <https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-5154798/mens-under-armour-wordmark-tech-20-tee.jsp?isClearance=true&prdPV=18>
* What is a **SKU** and how do I get it?
  * A SKU is an item-specific identification ID that is special only to a single item. Kohls SKUs tend to be near the beginning of the link. ( ex. <https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-5154798/mens-under-armour-wordmark-tech-20-tee.jsp?isClearance=true&prdPV=18> , SKU would be **5154798** )
* What is a good **QTY** to use?
  * It's best to check with your [cookgroup](https://guides.stellaraio.com/stellar/getting-started-with-stellaraio/cook-groups) for quantity recommendations as different products may have different purchase limits set by the site
    * Stellar does not automatically adjust the quantity if you set a number higher than what's allowed
* What **Monitoring** **Delays** should I use?
  * The best delay to use is 4000. If your proxies are getting flagged/banned, increase delays
* What **Reset Delays** should I use?
  * We recommend delays around 5000
* What is **Discount**?
  * If you have a discount code, you can paste it here
* What is a **Watch Task** and should I select it?
  * **Watch Tasks** waits until another source to ping it to trigger to attempt to add to cart. In this case with Kohls, your Monitor mode tasks will notify your Guest watch tasks when that specific product has restocked. The watch task product needs to be identical to the normal mode product.&#x20;
    * The benefits of using watch tasks are 1) You'll use less proxy data as watch tasks do not use proxies while in Waiting status and 2) You'll be using less proxies overall which will reduce proxies being detected from the site
* What is **Use Rakuten?** box?
  * Follow the [Rakuten guide](https://help.stellaraio.com/stellar/navigating-stellaraio/what-is-the-settings-tab/how-do-i-set-up-rakuten-cashback) to set it up and check this box to earn cashback on eligible purchases
* What is **Use TopCashBack?** box?
  * Follow the [TopCashBack guide](https://help.stellaraio.com/stellar/navigating-stellaraio/what-is-the-settings-tab/how-do-i-set-up-topcashback) to set it up and check this box to earn cashback on eligible purchases
