Complete guide on our HobbyCraft module

The HobbyCraft module supports UK home delivery and store collection using guest checkout. Start by deciding how you want to receive the order, then choose the matching checkout and monitoring modes.

Quick Start — Recommended Setup

1. Save a checkout profile with accurate billing, shipping and payment details. Add UK proxies in the Proxies tab.
2. In Tasks, create or select a HobbyCraft group, click Create Task and choose shipping for home delivery or collect for store pickup.
3. Enter the product SKU and Product Quantity. For collection, also enter the Pickup Radius and check the postcode used for the store search.
4. For random restocks, pair shipping with monitor, or collect with monitor-collect. Use the same SKU and enable Watch Task on the checkout task. Match the postcode and radius for collection.
5. Start with a small setup. Review every field before creating tasks, then start them only when you are ready for an order to be placed.

Preliminary Checklist

• Profile: save the details you want used at checkout. HobbyCraft uses guest checkout; there is no account-login setup in these modes.
• UK proxies: ISPs are a useful starting point for long-running monitors because residential traffic consumes data. For checkout, good-quality residential proxies are preferred; working ISPs can also be tested.
• Product SKU: use the numeric identifier at the end of the product URL, before .html. Your cook group can also supply it.
• Collection details: use a postcode and a pickup radius covering stores you can actually visit.
• Check that the product supports your chosen delivery or collection method. Stock for one method does not guarantee stock for the other.

Supported Modes

• shipping — Attempts checkout for home delivery.
• collect — Attempts checkout for store collection.
• monitor — Checks home-delivery stock and triggers shipping tasks with Watch Task enabled.
• monitor-collect — Checks store-collection stock and triggers collect tasks with Watch Task enabled.

Shipping Mode

Choose shipping to place an order for home delivery.

• Name: an optional label for identifying the task.
• Profile: select the saved customer, address and payment details for checkout.
• Checkout Proxy: select your UK proxy group.
• SKU: enter the numeric product identifier, not the full URL.
• Product Quantity: units to request in one order. It starts at 1; follow the retailer’s product limit.
• Delay: retry timing in milliseconds. The current form defaults to 3000 ms (3 seconds). Earlier guidance used 1000–2000 ms for checkout, but begin with the current default and only tune it for your proxies and the website’s response.
• Watch Task: enable to wait for a matching monitor task to find stock. Leave it off if running checkout directly for a timed release.
• Start Time / End Time: optional scheduling; leave blank for manual task control.
• Qty at the bottom: the number of task copies to create, not units per order. Start with 1 and click Create after checking the details.

Collect Mode

Choose collect when you want to pick up an order at a nearby store.

• Name, Profile, Checkout Proxy, SKU and Product Quantity: use the same meanings as Shipping mode. The profile is still required for checkout details.
• Postal Code: the centre of the store search. Enter a postcode to override the profile’s postcode; otherwise the profile postcode is used.
• Pickup Radius: the maximum distance in miles to search from that postcode. Choose a radius you can realistically travel.
• Delay: defaults to 3000 ms. Adjust only when needed for proxy quality or errors.
• Watch Task: enable when pairing with monitor-collect for random restocks. For a timed release, checkout can run directly with Watch Task off.
• Start Time / End Time: optional scheduling. Bottom Qty: how many collection checkout tasks to create.

Monitor Mode

Choose monitor to watch home-delivery stock; this mode does not place an order.

• Name: an optional task label.
• Monitor Proxy: select your UK proxy group for stock checks.
• SKU: match the shipping task’s product identifier.
• Monitoring Delay: time between stock checks in milliseconds. The form starts at 3000 ms. For long-running monitoring, the established recommendation is 5000–10000 ms; for example, increase 5000 to 6000 if requests are being blocked.
• Reset Delay: how long to wait before restarting monitoring after stock is detected. The form leaves it blank; 3000–5000 ms is the existing recommended starting range.
• Start Time / End Time: optional scheduling. Bottom Qty: the number of monitor tasks to create.
• No Profile is required in this mode. Pair it with shipping checkout tasks that have Watch Task enabled.

Monitor-Collect Mode

Choose monitor-collect to watch stock at stores near your chosen postcode.

• Name: an optional task label.
• Profile: required in this mode; its postcode is used unless you enter a Postal Code override.
• Monitor Proxy: select your UK proxy group.
• SKU: match the collect task’s product identifier.
• Postal Code: the centre of the store search; overrides the profile postcode.
• Pickup Radius: how far, in miles, the task searches from the postcode. Match the collection checkout task’s area.
• Monitoring Delay: defaults to 3000 ms. Consider 5000–10000 ms for long-running monitoring and adjust if your proxies are blocked.
• Reset Delay: time before monitoring restarts after stock is detected; 3000–5000 ms is the existing starting recommendation.
• Start Time / End Time: optional scheduling. Bottom Qty controls the number of monitor tasks created.
• Pair with collect checkout tasks that have Watch Task enabled. This mode checks stock and does not place the order itself.

FAQ

How do I find the SKU?

For example, the SKU in this HobbyCraft product URL is 6755271000. Copy the numbers immediately before .html into the task’s SKU field. The app hint uses the same numeric-ID format.

Do I need a HobbyCraft account or captcha provider?

These modes use guest checkout. The current forms do not include Account or Captcha Provider fields, so no separate account or captcha setup is required for this walkthrough.

What does Watch Task do?

It keeps the checkout task waiting until the matching monitor detects stock. Use shipping + monitor for delivery, or collect + monitor-collect for pickup. This can reduce unnecessary checkout attempts. For known release times, you can use the checkout task directly with Watch Task off.

Which proxies and delays should I start with?

Use UK proxies. Working ISPs are useful for monitoring over long periods; good residential proxies are preferred for checkout, although working ISPs can also be used. Residential monitoring consumes data. Begin with a small setup, increase delays if requests are blocked, and try another provider if problems persist. No provider or delay guarantees a checkout.

How should I test before a release?

Check the profile, SKU and collection area first. If you test a checkout task on an in-stock item, do so only when you intend to buy it: the task can place an order. Product Quantity controls units per order; the bottom Qty creates additional tasks and may lead to additional orders.

Common Errors

Error 500 while monitoring collection

A developer previously confirmed that HobbyCraft temporarily disabled the collection-monitoring endpoint for a particular product, causing Error 500. In that situation, monitors could detect stock again once the retailer re-enabled it. Check current announcements before assuming your profile or proxies are wrong. This past explanation does not mean every Error 500 has the same cause.

Proxy bans or repeated request errors

Confirm the proxy group works and uses UK proxies. Increase the monitoring delay, then try another provider or residential proxies if necessary. Watch residential data use during long monitoring sessions.

No stock, or a checkout task stays waiting

Check the SKU and mode pairing. Delivery stock needs monitor + shipping; store stock needs monitor-collect + collect. For collection, verify the postcode and radius. A checkout task with Watch Task enabled waits for the relevant monitor to find stock; disable Watch Task only if you intend to run checkout directly.

Unexpected checkout or collection details

Review the selected profile, postcode override, radius, product quantity and mode. Check the retailer’s order confirmation for the actual collection store or delivery details. If the result does not match your setup, stop affected tasks and send support the exact mode, status and relevant logs, with personal details hidden.
