Complete guide for running Mattel Creations through StellarAIO’s Shopify module

<figure><img src="https://logos-world.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Mattel-Logo.png" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Module Summary

Mattel Creations is supported through StellarAIO’s **Shopify module**. There is no separate Mattel task module.

Always follow newer Mattel-specific announcements. Drop-specific instructions override the general recommendations in this guide.

## Quick Start: Recommended Setup

Use this section for the standard Mattel Creations setup.

#### 1. Prepare Your Account and Profile

Before creating tasks:

1. Create or verify your Mattel account.
2. Confirm whether the account already has an active RLC membership.
3. Create a Stellar profile with valid billing, shipping, and payment information.
4. Make sure the email in the profile is tied to the Mattel account.
5. Test the account and payment information before an important release when possible.

You do not need to create or select a Shopify session for the standard Mattel setup. Leave the task’s **Session** field blank.

#### 2. Prepare Your Proxies

Use high-quality proxies that work on Mattel Creations.

Recommended options:

* High-quality ISP proxies
* High-quality residential proxies
* A mixture of providers or proxy pools

Avoid relying on one provider for every task. Proxy performance can change during high-traffic releases.

#### 3. Prepare Captcha Solving

Mattel Creations releases may require captchas.

You may select:

* **Bot**
* CapSolver
* Another supported captcha provider

If you select **Bot**, open your Captcha Harvesters before the release so they are ready when the queue or checkout flow requests a captcha.

Only open as many harvesters as your computer or server can handle reliably.

#### 4. Obtain the Product URL

Retrieve the product URL from:

* The official Mattel Creations website
* Your cook group
* A current Stellar drop announcement

Use the complete Mattel Creations product URL as the task Input.

Example format:

```
https://creations.mattel.com/products/product-name
```

A direct product URL is recommended because it targets the intended product accurately.

#### 5. Create the Task

Create a Shopify task using:

* **Mode:** Preload
* **Profile:** Profile whose email belongs to the Mattel account
* **Monitor Proxy:** High-quality ISP or residential proxy
* **Checkout Proxy:** High-quality ISP or residential proxy
* **Input:** Complete Mattel Creations product URL
* **Sizes:** Random for a one-size product, unless instructed otherwise
* **Delay:** Start around `5000`
* **Site:** Creations Mattel
* **Product Quantity:** Follow the current product limit
* **IMAP Session:** Leave blank unless current instructions require it
* **Session:** Leave blank
* **Password:** Disabled
* **Discount Code:** Disabled unless you have a valid code
* **Price Check:** Optional
* **Captcha Provider:** Bot or another supported provider
* **Add Mattel RLC Membership:** Enable only when the account needs membership
* **Endless Mode:** Disabled for the standard setup

<figure><img src="https://1122101074-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-MQL0BOlyqRRf7zyNKSf%2Fuploads%2FMdysqKx2P58Wr9O7CgXl%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=99e9cb18-74e1-47e8-a4ba-5f3942088cb2" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

After entering the product URL, Stellar should automatically select **Creations Mattel** in the Site field. Confirm that the correct Site appears before creating the task.

#### 6. Handle RLC Membership

If the Mattel account does not have the membership required for the product, enable:

```
Add Mattel RLC Membership
```

Stellar will attempt to add and purchase the membership during the checkout process.

The membership is not purchased when you create or start the task. It is added when the task reaches checkout and places the product order.

If the account already has the required membership, leave this option disabled.

#### 7. Start Your Tasks

Create and review your tasks before the release, but start them when the Mattel queue is live.

Once started:

* Confirm the tasks are entering the release flow.
* Keep Captcha Harvesters ready if you selected Bot.
* Complete any requested captchas promptly.
* Follow live Stellar announcements for drop-specific changes.

Separate Monitor Mode tasks are not required. Each Preload task monitors the product through its selected Monitor Proxy.

***

## Preliminary Checklist

* StellarAIO is updated to the latest version.
* A Mattel account has been created.
* The account’s membership status has been checked.
* The profile email is tied to the Mattel account.
* The profile has valid billing information.
* The profile has valid shipping information.
* The profile has a working payment method.
* High-quality ISP or residential proxies are ready.
* More than one proxy provider or pool is available when possible.
* The correct Mattel Creations product URL has been obtained.
* The current product quantity limit has been confirmed.
* The Captcha Provider is ready.
* Captcha Harvesters are open if Bot is selected.
* Cook group and Stellar notifications are enabled.
* The setup has been tested when possible.

### How Mattel Creations Uses the Shopify Module

Mattel Creations appears inside Stellar’s Shopify task creator.

You do not need to add Mattel as a custom Shopify store. Enter the Mattel Creations product URL in the Input field, and Stellar should automatically select:

```
Creations Mattel
```

Always confirm the Site field before creating tasks.

***

### Mattel Accounts and Profiles

A Mattel account is required for the recommended setup.

The email inside the selected Stellar profile must be tied to the Mattel account you intend to use.

Before a release, confirm that the account and profile contain accurate:

* Email
* Billing address
* Shipping address
* Payment information

#### Session Field

Leave the Session field blank for the standard Mattel setup.

Do not select a general Shopify session simply because the task is created through the Shopify module. The profile email should instead be tied to the Mattel account.

Only follow a different session setup if a newer Stellar announcement explicitly instructs you to do so.

#### IMAP Session

Leave the IMAP Session field blank for the standard setup unless current instructions state that email verification must be automated.

IMAP is not part of the standard recommended Mattel setup provided in this guide.

### RLC Membership

Some Mattel Creations products require an active Hot Wheels RLC membership.

Before creating tasks, check whether each Mattel account already has the required membership.

#### Account Already Has Membership

If the account already has the required membership:

* Leave **Add Mattel RLC Membership** disabled.
* Run the task using the normal recommended setup.

#### Account Does Not Have Membership

If the account does not have the required membership:

* Enable **Add Mattel RLC Membership**.
* Stellar will attempt to include the membership during checkout.
* The membership and product will be purchased as part of the checkout process.

Starting the task does not immediately purchase the membership. The membership is added only after the task reaches the appropriate checkout step.

***

### Supported Mode

#### Preload Mode

Preload is the recommended mode for Mattel Creations releases.

Preload Mode allows the task to monitor the entered product URL, enter the release flow when the product becomes available, and continue through queue and checkout.

Use Preload Mode for the standard Mattel setup unless a newer announcement instructs you to use something different.

#### Separate Monitor Tasks

Separate Monitor Mode tasks are not required for Mattel Creations.

The Preload task uses its own Monitor Proxy while checking the product. Creating additional Monitor Mode tasks is unnecessary for this setup.

### Preload Mode Field Breakdown

#### Name

Optional custom name used to identify the task.

Use a clear name containing the product or release date.

Example:

```
Mattel RLC 8/18
```

#### Mode

Select:

```
Preload
```

This is the recommended mode for Mattel Creations.

#### Profile

Select the profile containing the billing, shipping, payment, and email information used for the order.

The profile email must be tied to a Mattel account.

#### Monitor Proxy

Select the proxy group the task will use while monitoring the product.

You may use:

* High-quality ISP proxies
* High-quality residential proxies

Use multiple providers or pools when possible.

This field does not mean you need to create a separate Monitor task.

#### Checkout Proxy

Select the proxy group the task will use during queue and checkout.

Use a high-quality ISP or residential proxy group. Test your proxies before an important release when possible.

#### Input

Enter the complete Mattel Creations product URL.

Example:

```
https://creations.mattel.com/products/product-name
```

Retrieve the correct URL from the Mattel website, your cook group, or a current Stellar announcement.

#### Sizes

Select the desired product option.

For Mattel collectibles without traditional size variants, **Random** is generally appropriate unless current instructions specify another selection.

If a product has multiple selectable variants, choose the option you intend to purchase.

#### Delay

Delay controls how frequently the task checks the product. It is entered in milliseconds.

Recommended starting value:

```
5000
```

Lower delays may check more frequently but can increase rate limits and proxy blocks. Higher delays may be safer but respond more slowly.

Follow current Mattel announcements if a different delay is recommended.

#### IMAP Session

Leave blank for the standard setup.

Select an IMAP session only if a current announcement confirms that email verification is required and supported through IMAP.

#### Site

The Site should be:

```
Creations Mattel
```

Entering a valid Mattel Creations product URL should automatically select this Site.

If it does not:

1. Confirm that the URL is a complete Mattel Creations product URL.
2. Confirm Stellar is updated.
3. Manually select Creations Mattel if it is available.
4. Recreate the task if the Site still does not update correctly.

#### Product Quantity

Enter how many units the task should attempt to purchase.

Follow the limit for the current product and release. If you do not know the limit, use:

```
1
```

Do not assume the quantity shown in an older setup screenshot applies to every Mattel release.

#### Start Time

Optional time at which an already-started task may begin operating.

Setting a Start Time does not start the task automatically. You must still manually start the task in Stellar.

For standard Mattel drops, the recommendation is to start tasks when the queue is live.

#### End Time

Optional time at which the task should stop.

Leave this blank unless you intentionally want the task to stop at a specific time.

#### Session

Leave this field blank.

Make sure the email in the selected profile is tied to a Mattel account.

#### Password

Leave **Use Password** disabled for the standard Mattel setup.

Only enable this if Mattel uses a storefront password and current Stellar instructions provide the correct password.

This field is for a storefront password, not the password for the member’s Mattel account.

#### Discount Code

Leave disabled unless you have a valid discount code that applies to the release.

If enabled, enter the exact code.

A discount code may be invalid, expired, restricted, or unavailable for limited releases.

#### Price Check

Price Check is optional.

Enable it if you want to restrict checkout to an expected price range. Make sure the configured range accounts for the product and any membership that may be added during checkout.

Avoid setting an overly narrow range that could reject the intended checkout.

#### Captcha Provider

Select the captcha-solving option the task should use.

Supported choices may include:

* Bot
* CapSolver
* Other available providers

Any supported provider may be used.

If you select Bot, open Captcha Harvesters ahead of the release. Confirm that they are ready before the queue goes live.

#### Add Mattel RLC Membership

Enable this option when the Mattel account does not already have the membership required for the product.

When enabled, Stellar attempts to purchase the membership during checkout with the product order.

Leave it disabled when:

* The account already has the required membership.
* The product does not require RLC membership.
* Current drop instructions say it is unnecessary.

#### Endless Mode

Endless Mode allows the task to restart after a successful checkout.

Leave this disabled for the standard setup unless you intentionally want the task to continue attempting additional orders and the store permits them.

#### Endless Limit

Sets the maximum number of successful checkouts when Endless Mode is enabled.

This field does not apply when Endless Mode is disabled.

#### Task Qty

Task Qty controls how many copies of the configured task Stellar creates.

This is different from Product Quantity:

* **Product Quantity** controls how many units one task attempts to purchase.
* **Task Qty** controls how many separate tasks are created.

Avoid accidentally creating more tasks or purchase attempts than intended.

### When to Start Tasks

Prepare tasks before the release so you have time to review every field.

For the standard Mattel setup:

1. Wait for the product queue to go live.
2. Confirm your Captcha Provider and harvesters are ready.
3. Start the Preload tasks.
4. Allow the tasks to enter the Mattel release flow.
5. Follow any live Stellar instructions posted during the release.

Do not use the general Shopify recommendation of starting five to ten minutes early when current Mattel instructions specifically say to start when the queue is live.

A scheduled Start Time does not start the task automatically. The task must already be manually started in Stellar.

### How Many Tasks?

A reasonable general starting point is:

```
1 task per profile
```

This is only a starting point. Scale based on:

* Current Mattel announcement
* Number of profiles
* Number of Mattel accounts
* Proxy quality
* Captcha-solving capacity
* Computer or server resources
* Product and account limits

More tasks do not guarantee better results. Excessive task counts can increase captchas, proxy blocks, rate limits, and unintended duplicate checkout attempts.

### During the Release

While Mattel tasks are running:

* Keep Captcha Harvesters open if Bot is selected.
* Complete any required manual captchas promptly.
* Confirm tasks are progressing through the queue.
* Avoid repeatedly stopping and restarting tasks without a reason.
* Watch current Stellar announcements for live instructions.
* Remember that RLC membership is added at checkout, not when the task starts.
* Do not create separate Monitor tasks.
* Keep tasks running if Mattel releases inventory in additional waves.

## Common Errors and Fixes

#### Creations Mattel Is Not Automatically Selected

**Cause:** The product URL is incomplete, incorrect, or Stellar is outdated.

**Fix:**

1. Confirm Stellar is updated.
2. Enter the complete Mattel Creations product URL.
3. Remove unnecessary tracking parameters from the URL.
4. Confirm that **Creations Mattel** appears in the Site field.
5. Manually select Creations Mattel if necessary.
6. Recreate the task if the Site remains incorrect.

#### Task Cannot Find the Product

**Cause:** The wrong product URL or Site is being used, or the product has not entered its active release flow.

**Fix:**

1. Confirm the product URL with your cook group or Mattel website.
2. Confirm Creations Mattel is selected.
3. Confirm the queue or release is live.
4. Check for a newer product link.
5. Follow current Stellar announcements.

#### Account Is Not Recognized

**Cause:** The selected profile email is not tied to the intended Mattel account.

**Fix:**

1. Open the selected Stellar profile.
2. Confirm the profile email.
3. Confirm a Mattel account exists under that email.
4. Verify the account manually.
5. Leave the task’s Session field blank.

#### RLC Membership Is Required

**Cause:** The Mattel account does not have the membership required for the product.

**Fix:**

1. Confirm the account’s current membership status.
2. Enable **Add Mattel RLC Membership** if membership is needed.
3. Confirm the profile’s payment information can cover the product and membership.
4. Restart the affected task if required.

The membership will not be purchased when the task starts. It is added when the task reaches checkout.

#### Membership Was Not Purchased When the Task Started

This is expected behavior.

**Add Mattel RLC Membership** does not purchase membership immediately. Stellar attempts to purchase it with the product during checkout.

#### Waiting for Captcha

**Cause:** Mattel requires a captcha solution before the task can continue.

**Fix:**

1. Confirm the selected Captcha Provider is ready.
2. If using Bot, open your Captcha Harvesters.
3. Confirm harvesters are connected.
4. Complete any required manual captcha.
5. Avoid opening more harvesters than the device can handle.

#### Proxy Banned or Rate Limited

**Cause:** The proxy is blocked, the delay is too low, or too many tasks are using the same pool.

**Fix:**

1. Try a different high-quality ISP or residential pool.
2. Spread tasks across multiple providers.
3. Increase the delay if repeated rate limits occur.
4. Avoid repeatedly restarting every task.
5. Confirm the Mattel site works through the selected proxy.

#### Task Is Not Entering the Queue

**Cause:** The queue may not be live, the product link may be wrong, or the task may not have detected the active release flow.

**Fix:**

1. Confirm the queue is live.
2. Confirm the product URL.
3. Confirm Creations Mattel is selected.
4. Confirm the Monitor Proxy works.
5. Check for a newer Stellar announcement.
6. Restart only the affected task if instructed.

#### Wrong Product Quantity

**Cause:** The entered quantity exceeds the current product limit.

**Fix:**

1. Confirm the limit for the current release.
2. Reduce Product Quantity.
3. Use `1` if the limit is unknown.
4. Follow current Mattel or cook group instructions.

#### Session-Related Error

**Cause:** A Shopify session was selected even though the standard Mattel setup does not use one.

**Fix:**

1. Edit the task.
2. Clear the Session field.
3. Confirm the profile email belongs to a Mattel account.
4. Save and restart the task.

#### Price Check Rejects Checkout

**Cause:** The detected checkout price is outside the configured Price Check range.

**Fix:**

1. Confirm the product price.
2. Account for an RLC membership if the task is adding one.
3. Correct or widen the allowed range.
4. Disable Price Check only if you are comfortable checking out without it.

#### Captcha Provider Fails

**Cause:** The selected solving provider is unavailable or cannot complete the captcha.

**Fix:**

1. Confirm the provider is configured correctly.
2. Check the provider’s balance or connection.
3. Try Bot with prepared Captcha Harvesters.
4. Try another supported provider.
5. Be ready to solve manually if required.

### Final Reminder

Prepare your Mattel account, profile, proxies, product information, and captcha-solving setup before the release.

Use **Quick Start: Recommended Setup** at the top of this guide for the current standard configuration. During a live release, follow newer instructions posted in Stellar announcements because drop-specific guidance always overrides this general guide.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guides.stellaraio.com/stellar/retailers/mattel-creations.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
