Selfridges has normal and monitor modes in Stellar AIO 4.0. Normal is the checkout task; Monitor checks for stock and can alert a matching Normal task. A Monitor task does not place an order.
Quick Start (Recommended Setup)
- Save your checkout details in the Profiles tab. Start with one profile and one task so the setup is easy to check.
- In Tasks, click the + beside My Task Groups, select Selfridges, name the group and click Add.
- Open the group, click Create Task and choose normal. Select your Profile and your Checkout Proxy group if using proxies.
- Fill in Product URL. Paste the full link to the exact product page, not a category or search-results page.
- Choose the exact Size you want when the product has sizes. Leave Account blank for guest checkout, or select a saved Selfridges account.
- Keep Qty at 1 and Delay at its current default of 3000 ms (3 seconds). Keep the bottom Qty at 1; that creates one task.
- For a simple direct checkout setup or a timed release, leave Watch Task? off. For random restocks, use the paired Monitor setup below if you want monitoring to alert your checkout task.
- Leave optional scheduling, cashback off or blank for your first setup. Click Create, review the saved task, and start it only when you are ready for it to attempt a purchase.
Preliminary Checklist
- Update Stellar and review the product’s price, availability, purchase limits and delivery requirements.
- Check your profile’s email, phone number, billing address, shipping address and payment details.
- If using proxies, prepare and test a proxy group. Add them in the Proxies tab using
IP:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD. - Have the correct product link ready, along with acceptable sizes. Begin with a small setup before adding more tasks.
Accounts & Sessions
Selfridges supports guest checkout and saved-account checkout. Leave Account empty for guest checkout. To use an account, save its credentials in the Accounts tab under Selfridges, then select it in the task. The checkout task uses those credentials to sign in and save a session; importing credentials alone does not log the account in.
Confirm that you can sign in with email and password. If a saved session is no longer working, Clear Cookies removes the saved login session while keeping the credentials; the next task login must create a new session. Do not clear cookies as a routine preparation step when login is working.
Supported Modes
- normal: attempts checkout using your selected profile. With Watch Task? off, it runs directly. With Watch Task on, it relies on a matching stock alert.
- monitor: checks the product for stock and alerts watching checkout tasks. It does not buy the product.
Normal Mode — Checkout
In your Selfridges group, click Create Task and choose normal. Fields marked with an asterisk are required.
- Name: an optional label to help you identify the task.
- Mode: select
normal. - Profile: required. Select the profile containing the contact, delivery and payment details for this purchase.
- Checkout Proxy: select the proxy group used for checkout, if using proxies.
- Product URL: Paste the full link to the exact product page, not a category or search-results page.
- Size: select the exact size label for the product. The menu includes Random, numeric and fractional sizes, and clothing labels such as S, M and L. Match the retailer’s product sizing; the menu is not a live stock list. Choose Random only if any available size is acceptable.
- Qty: number of units to attempt in an order. Start with 1 and respect the retailer’s limit. This is separate from the bottom Qty.
- Delay: interval between task requests, in milliseconds. The default is 3000 ms (3 seconds). Lowering it is not automatically better; repeated connection or blocking errors may call for fewer tasks, better proxies or a longer delay.
- Account: choose a saved Selfridges account for account checkout. Leave blank for guest checkout.
- Watch Task?: leave off to run directly. Enable it only when you are running a matching Monitor task for the same retailer and product.
- Use NXRewards? / Use CompleteSavings?: optional cashback settings. Leave off unless you have configured the relevant service in Settings and checked purchase eligibility. Cashback is not guaranteed.
- Start Time / End Time: optional scheduling. Leave blank to start and stop the task yourself.
- Bottom Qty: number of tasks to create. Use 1 for your first task, then click Create.
Monitor Mode — Stock Monitoring
Use this mode when you want a separate task to watch for restocks. Create the Monitor task and the matching Normal task in the same retailer group. Enable Watch Task? on Normal and run both tasks. For a timed release, a direct Normal task with Watch Task off avoids waiting for a Monitor alert.
- Name: use a clear label, such as “Selfridges stock monitor”.
- Mode: select
monitor. - Monitor Proxy: select a working proxy group for stock checks.
- Product URL: use the same product URL as your Normal task.
- Size: choose the same acceptable size(s) as the Normal task. Do not monitor a size you do not want to buy.
- Monitoring Delay: time between stock checks. The current default is 3000 ms (3 seconds).
- Reset Delay: how long the monitor waits before restarting after detecting an in-stock product. This is different from the delay between routine stock checks. Leave it unchanged unless current release guidance recommends a value.
- Start Time / End Time: optional monitoring schedule. Make sure the Monitor runs while your watching Normal task is active.
- Bottom Qty: number of Monitor tasks to create. Start with one for the product, then click Create.
Example: Monitor + Normal for one product
Create one Monitor task for your chosen Selfridges product and size. Create one Normal task using the same product input and size, your checkout profile and a product quantity of 1. Enable Watch Task on Normal, then start both. Monitor checks stock; Normal attempts the purchase after the matching alert. If you instead want Normal to run directly, turn Watch Task off.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a retailer account?
No for guest checkout. Leave Account blank, or select a saved account if you want account checkout.
Do I need both modes?
No. Normal can run directly with Watch Task off. Use Monitor plus a watching Normal task when you want a separate stock-monitoring setup, such as random restocks. Running only Monitor will not place an order.
Why are there two quantity fields?
Qty inside the mode settings controls product units. The Qty at the bottom controls how many tasks Stellar creates. For example, product quantity 1 and bottom Qty 3 creates three checkout tasks, each configured to attempt one unit.
Common Errors & Fixes
Use these checks to narrow down a problem. The exact task status matters; an error message alone does not always identify its cause.
Waiting for a Monitor alert
Check Watch Task first. If you want direct checkout, turn it off. If you want a paired setup, confirm the Monitor is running and both tasks use the same product and compatible size selection.
Product not found or no stock detected
Check Product URL for the correct product and remove accidental spaces. Open the product page and verify that it is still available. Check the exact size too; another size being in stock does not mean your selection is available. A browser stock display may change before checkout completes.
Missing required fields or task will not save
Review every field marked with an asterisk. Also confirm you have saved a profile and any proxy group you want to select.
Connection errors, timeouts or repeated blocking
Check the selected proxy group, its credentials and whether the proxies still work. Reduce the number of tasks and consider a longer delay. Install available Stellar updates. Do not assume that repeatedly restarting a large task group will fix the underlying issue.
Account login fails
Confirm the saved email and password by signing in on the retailer’s website. Check for extra verification steps or a stale session. If necessary, reset only that account’s saved session in Accounts and let the checkout task log in again.
Payment declined or checkout not completed
Review the selected profile, product availability, quantity limit and payment details. Check the retailer’s order confirmation before retrying to avoid duplicate orders. A decline can have more than one cause; it is not proof that changing proxies alone will solve it.
Still need help?
Send Stellar support the retailer name, mode, exact status message and what you already checked. Include exported logs when requested. Hide passwords, full payment details and proxy credentials in screenshots.
