Use the Costco module in Stellar 4.0 for Costco US and Canada. This guide explains how to prepare an account, create checkout tasks, and choose between an ordinary restock and a Queue-It release. A monitor checks for stock; a Normal task attempts the purchase. Queue-It tasks collect queue entries and pass a successful queue session to a waiting Normal task.
Video Guide
The video below shows an older Stellar interface. Use the written steps and screenshots in this guide for the current 4.0 controls.
Quick Start: Recommended Setup
- Prepare a valid Costco membership account, profile, and tested proxies. Use one active Normal task per account.
- For ordinary restocks, pair Monitor + Normal and enable Watch Task on Normal. Keep Wait for Queue Pass off.
- For a queue release, run Costco queueit + Normal, enable Wait for Queue Pass and turn Watch Task off.
- Configure the selected captcha service before a queue drop; prepare OTP access if using OTP login.
- Check all settings and start at the time in current release guidance. Keep the appropriate monitors or queue tasks running.
Preliminary Checklist
- Update Stellar and check the latest Costco release instructions. Queue links, product limits and recommended proxy setups can change between releases.
- Prepare a Costco account and a Stellar profile with valid billing, shipping and payment information. Save a default shipping address on the Costco website.
- Use only one active Normal checkout task per Costco account. Sharing an account between checkout tasks can cause cart conflicts, login problems or temporary account restrictions.
- Clear the account’s cart before the release so you do not accidentally buy unwanted items.
- Test the setup ahead of time on a product you actually intend to buy. A running checkout task can place a real order.
For Costco US, use Visa or Mastercard as supported by this module; the existing setup guidance does not support American Express. Follow the payment requirements for the country and product you are buying.
Open the product on the correct Costco country website and copy its full address. Your cook group may also supply the link for an upcoming release.

This is an example of the URL format, not a product recommendation. Use the exact link for the item you want, and keep the Normal and Monitor product links consistent.
Accounts & Sessions
Add your Costco account
- Open Accounts and select Costco. Choose an account group, or create one to organize your Costco accounts.
- Click Add Account. Enter an optional Account Name, the Account Email and Account Password, then click Save.
- Use the same email on the matching Stellar profile. Select the saved account explicitly in the Normal task’s Account field so it is clear which account will be used.
Adding the account saves its credentials. Login happens when the task runs; saving an account alone does not mean it is logged in. The current Costco account form has no Login Proxy field.
To add several accounts, use Mass Import Accounts and enter one account per line in this format:
email;password
Captcha Harvesters & Verification
Prepare proxies and captcha solving
Use tested proxy groups under Proxies. High-quality residential proxies are the existing recommendation for Costco checkout. Keep monitor and checkout proxy groups separate where practical, and avoid relying on one provider or pool.
US, Canadian and UK residential pools have been used for Costco US. Treat those as options to test, not a guarantee that one location will work on every release. For Queue-It tasks, test ISP and residential proxies according to the latest release guidance.
Queue Captcha Provider offers Aycd, Bot, Capmonster and Capsolver. Capsolver is the existing recommendation for Costco queues. Configure the selected service before the drop and confirm it is ready; choosing its name in the task does not configure the service for you.
Bot uses a built-in captcha harvester. Costco queue captchas require manual solving with this option; do not expect the harvester’s AI AutoSolve to solve them. Have the harvester open and Chrome installed. AYCD uses your configured AYCD setup; Capmonster and Capsolver use their corresponding service settings.
Supported Modes
Ordinary restock: Monitor + Normal
Use this when Costco is not using a Queue-It waiting room. Create roughly one Monitor task per product and one Normal task per account. On Normal, turn Watch Task on and leave Wait for Queue Pass off. Use the same product URL in both task types.
Queue release: queueit + Normal
Use this when Costco opens a Queue-It waiting room. Create queueit tasks inside the Costco module and one Normal checkout task per account. On Normal, turn Wait for Queue Pass on and Watch Task off. Start both task types when the queue opens. A passed queue session is handed to a waiting Normal task.
Watch Task and Wait for Queue Pass serve different purposes. Neither a monitor ping nor passing a queue guarantees stock or a successful checkout. Follow release-specific instructions if they differ from these starting setups.
Normal Mode Breakdown
Open Tasks, select a Costco task group and click Create Task. Choose normal in the Mode dropdown.
Name
Optional label to help you recognize this task. Use the product, account or purpose rather than leaving many tasks indistinguishable.
Mode
Select the mode named in this breakdown. Changing the mode changes the available fields and what the task does.
Profile
choose the profile with the correct payment and address information.
Checkout Proxy
select your tested checkout proxy group.
Product URL
paste the full Costco product link, not just its item number.
Delay
the form starts at 3000 ms. The existing general recommendation is around 4000 ms (4 seconds); use current release guidance and adjust for your proxy performance.
Qty next to Delay
the number of units to buy in the order. Start with 1 unless the product limit and release instructions allow more. Stellar does not automatically correct an excessive quantity.
Account
select the Costco account to use. Keep one active Normal task per account.
Queue Captcha Provider
select your configured provider.
Login Method
choose Regular or OTP. OTP reveals the OTP Input field with IMAP, Manual and AYCD choices.
Discount Code
enter a valid code only if applicable. Otherwise leave it blank.
Start Time and End Time
optional scheduling controls. Leave blank if you will start and stop the tasks yourself.
Qty at the bottom of the form
how many task copies to create. Keep this at 1 for each account so you do not create duplicate checkout tasks for that account.
Normal task switches
Use Account Address?
on uses the default shipping address saved in the Costco account; off uses the profile’s address. Using the account’s saved address is the existing recommendation.
Skip Cart Clear?
leave off for a normal setup. Turning it on keeps items already in the cart, which could be purchased along with the product you are running.
Watch Task?
on for the Monitor + Normal setup; off for a Queue-It setup.
Wait for Queue Pass?
on for a Queue-It release with Costco queueit tasks running; off for an ordinary restock.
Endless Mode
leave off for a beginner setup unless you specifically want repeated attempts after a successful checkout. Review order limits before using it.
Click Create after reviewing the settings. Creating the task does not start it. The screenshot illustrates the current fields; select your own profile, account, proxies and release-specific switches.
Regular versus OTP login
Regular uses the account’s saved credentials. OTP means a one-time login code. If you choose OTP, select how Stellar will receive that code: IMAP reads it from your configured mailbox, Manual requires you to enter it, and AYCD uses your configured AYCD service. Set up and test the chosen method before a release.
Costco can temporarily flag accounts and interrupt login. Testing a mix of Regular and OTP across separate accounts may help you identify what works for your setup. Do not create two active checkout tasks on the same account just to try both methods, and do not assume OTP will bypass an account restriction.
Monitor Mode Breakdown
Choose monitor in the Costco task form. A Monitor checks availability and notifies Normal tasks with Watch Task enabled; it is not the checkout task.
Name
Optional label to help you recognize this task. Use the product, account or purpose rather than leaving many tasks indistinguishable.
Mode
Select the mode named in this breakdown. Changing the mode changes the available fields and what the task does.
Profile
select a profile; the current Monitor form marks this field as required.
Monitor Proxy
choose a tested monitoring proxy group.
Product URL
use the same full product link as the Normal task.
Monitor Type
api or atc. API checks through Costco’s API; ATC uses the frontend add-to-cart monitoring method. API may detect availability faster but can be more demanding on proxies.
Monitor Delay
the form starts at 3000 ms. Around 5000 ms is the existing general starting recommendation.
Reset Delay
the existing starting recommendation is around 5000 ms. Follow newer release guidance when provided.
Start Time and End Time
optional. The bottom Qty creates that many monitor tasks; approximately one per product is enough for most initial setups.
Click Create. Start the Monitor and the matching Normal task before the expected restock, then check their statuses. A Normal task waiting for a monitor ping is expected while the product is unavailable. Avoid adding extra monitors without a reason; more tasks also mean more proxy traffic.
Task Qty
The Qty at the bottom creates that many copies of the task. Use 1 while learning and check account limits before creating duplicates.
Queueit Mode Breakdown
Choose queueit inside your Costco task group. Use this Costco mode for Costco queue releases, rather than the separate general QueueIt module.
Name
Optional label to help you recognize this task. Use the product, account or purpose rather than leaving many tasks indistinguishable.
Mode
Select the mode named in this breakdown. Changing the mode changes the available fields and what the task does.
Checkout Proxy
choose the proxy group for your queue entries.
Product URL
enter the Costco queue/product link supplied for that release. The current field is labeled Product URL. Use the announced link instead of guessing a queue URL.
Delay
the form starts at 3000 ms. Follow the release instructions.
Queue Captcha Provider
choose your configured Aycd, Bot, Capmonster or Capsolver setup.
Start Time and End Time
optional.
Qty at the bottom
the number of queue-entry tasks to create. These tasks do not use Costco accounts or profiles.
The earlier release guidance used roughly 100–500 queue tasks. That is an example range, not a required minimum or a promise of a successful queue pass. Start only as many as your computer, proxies and captcha service can handle reliably. Paid captcha requests and residential data can be consumed as tasks run.
When the queue goes live, start the queueit tasks and your Normal task. Confirm the Normal task has Wait for Queue Pass on and Watch Task off. Keep both running while waiting for a pass; avoid restarting healthy tasks unless current staff instructions call for it.
FAQ & Release Preparation
Check the setup before starting
- Your account credentials work, the account’s default address is saved, and its cart is empty.
- The selected profile, account and country match the intended purchase.
- Only one active Normal checkout task uses each account.
- Product URL, quantity, proxy groups and captcha provider are correct.
- For an ordinary restock: Monitor is running, Watch Task is on, and Wait for Queue Pass is off.
- For a queue release: Costco queueit tasks are running, Wait for Queue Pass is on, and Watch Task is off.
- If using OTP, the selected code-retrieval method is ready.
- Watch the task status and order confirmations. Stop tasks you no longer want to run after obtaining the intended order.
Manual checkout and browser access
If Stellar tells you to finish checkout manually after an item carts, use the task’s globe/Open Browser control to open its authenticated session. You can also use Open Browser from the saved Costco account where available. Chrome must be installed in its normal system location for the in-app browser flow.
Check the cart contents, quantity, address and payment details before placing the order. An item being in the cart does not reserve it or guarantee checkout. Opening a separate browser without the saved session can require another login.
How many tasks should I run?
Use strictly one active Normal checkout task per Costco account. For an ordinary restock, one Monitor per product is a starting point. Queueit tasks do not use Costco accounts. The earlier queue-release guidance used 100–500 queue tasks for prepared setups, but this is not a beginner minimum or a guarantee: scale only to available proxies, captcha capacity and computer resources, following the current drop instructions.
Which queue module should I use?
Use queueit mode inside the Costco module, paired with Normal and Wait for Queue Pass. Do not substitute an unrelated retailer’s Queue-It setup. For ordinary restocks, use Monitor + Normal with Watch Task instead.
Can I use the built-in Bot captcha option?
Be ready to solve Costco queue captchas manually when using Bot. The Pokémon Center hCaptcha AI Solver workflow does not automatically solve Costco queue captchas. Configure and test whichever current provider you select before the queue opens.
Common Errors and Fixes
Waiting for Monitor
This is normally a waiting status, not an error. Confirm a matching Monitor task is running for the same product and that Watch Task is enabled. For a queue release, use Wait for Queue Pass instead and keep Watch Task off.
Waiting for a queue pass
Confirm Costco’s waiting room is live, your Costco queueit tasks are running with the correct link, and the captcha provider is working. A Normal task cannot receive a pass if no queue-entry task has passed yet. Do not confuse waiting for a pass with waiting for a stock-monitor notification.
Akamai or Kasada ban
These messages can indicate a proxy or account restriction. Stop repeatedly retrying a blocked setup. Test a different proxy pool or provider and check whether the account works on the website. If the account is temporarily restricted, allow it time to recover and follow current staff guidance. Changing a password is not a guaranteed fix.
Login or OTP problems
Check the saved email and password, the selected Account, and the chosen Login Method. For OTP, confirm the code is arriving and that IMAP, Manual or AYCD is ready. Use only one active checkout task per account to reduce conflicting logins. A valid password alone does not rule out a temporary account restriction.
Carts successfully but cannot check out
Check the task’s exact error. Confirm your payment method, profile details and saved account address, then consider whether the proxy or account is being blocked. Follow an explicit manual-checkout prompt if one appears. Avoid assuming every checkout error has the same cause.
ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR or Costco mobile services unavailable
These messages have been associated with temporary account restrictions, but the message alone does not prove the cause. Let the account rest, check the current Costco announcements and contact support with the task status if it persists.
Error submitting order — server error
Review billing, shipping, payment and product quantity. The error can also be on Costco’s side. If you test again, use an item you intend to purchase and stop once you have enough information; repeated attempts are not a guaranteed fix.
