# Failed to activate license key?

### **Why am I getting Failed to Activate License Key?** <a href="#h_15bd9d1717" id="h_15bd9d1717"></a>

**Please try each potential solutions below**

1. Close Stellar, go to the [Stellar Dashboard](https://whop.com/stellaraio), reset your key and try again

2. Make sure your clock is synced. To make the clock synced, go to "Adjust Date/Time" settings from the bottom right corner of the taskbar and sync the clock
3. Insert the key and Authenticate
