Remote Access & Phone Pairing
Settings → Remote Access pairs your phone with the computer running Stellar. The Mobile Companion App supports iOS and Android and lets you create, edit, start, and stop tasks, along with other desktop controls.
Pair your phone
- Download the Stellar Mobile Companion App from #mobile-app in the Stellar Discord server.
- Keep Stellar open on the computer you want to control.
- Open Settings → Remote Access and wait for Ready.
- Click Pair phone to display the pairing code.
- In the mobile app, tap Scan pairing code and scan the code shown by Stellar.
- Check that the computer is available in the mobile app and your phone appears under Paired phones.
Keep the pairing code private because it is used to connect a phone to your desktop.
Keep the desktop running
Stellar must remain open on the computer or server. The mobile app controls that desktop; it does not replace the computer running your tasks. Keep the computer awake and connected to the internet.
If the desktop appears offline
Check that Stellar is open on the paired computer, the computer has not gone to sleep, and Remote Access shows Ready. Also check the phone's internet connection. If it still will not connect, contact support with the status you see, without sharing your pairing code.
