### Preliminary Checklist

Before setting up tasks on Offspring, make sure you have everything below prepared:

* **Profiles**

> Create and save your checkout [profiles](https://guides.stellaraio.com/stellar/navigating-stellaraio/what-is-the-profiles-tab/how-do-i-add-a-profile) under the **Profiles tab** in Stellar. These contain your billing, shipping and payment info.

* **Proxies**

> - High-quality **ISP** or **Residential** proxies are required.
> - Low-quality or flagged proxies will cause **Akamai-related errors.**
> - For reliable performance, consider using **Stella Proxies ISPs or Residentials.**
> * If you're looking for proxies, check out [Stella Proxies](https://guides.stellaraio.com/stellar/getting-started-with-stellaraio/stella-proxies) for high quality ISP and Residential proxies.

* **Cook Group Access**

> Optional but recommended. Your [cook group](https://guides.stellaraio.com/stellar/getting-started-with-stellaraio/cook-groups) can help you find product URLs, SKUs and early restock alerts.

### Offspring Task Overview

**Normal Mode**

**Monitor Mode**

* What **mode** do I use?
  * **Normal mode** is used for normal guest checkout
  * **Monitor mode** is used to monitor product availability, these tasks will notify/ping your Normal mode watch tasks
* What does **Profile** mean?
  * Select a **Profile** you want to use and that profile information will be used when checking out items
* What type of **proxies** should I use?
  * **DCs** and **ISPs** are the best due to speed but residentials also work but might have a large data usage
* What is the **Product** **PID** and how do I get them?
  * The **Product PID** is usually at the end of the product link (ex. <https://www.offspring.co.uk/view/product/offspring_catalog/5,22/4142825243> ) The PID for this product would be `4142825243`
* What **Size** to use?
  * Input the **Size** you'd like to run for. One size per task. For example `10.5`
    * You can type `Random` for random sizing
* Which **Currency** do I select?
  * Select the currency that relates to your region USD, GBP or EUR
* What is **Payment Method**?
  * You can select Credit Card or PayPal
    * **Credit Card** option is for full ACO
    * **PayPal** option will send you a checkout link to you via webhook
* What **delays** should I use?
  * Experiment anywhere between 3000 and 5000
* What is **Use Collect Method**?
  * If selected, your product will be shipped to the closest store depending on your profile billing zip code
    * Your profiles address must be identical to the format used on Offspring website. You can manually check via browser to see which address is working and use the exact format
* What is a **Watch Task** and should I select it?
  * The **Watch Task** option allows your checkout task (e.g., Normal mode) to work together with a **Monitor mode task**. Here's how it works:

    * If you check this box, your **checkout task** will not monitor for restocks directly. Instead, it will wait for a **Monitor mode task** (with the same SKU) to detect a restock
      * Once the Monitor task detects the restock, it will "ping" your running checkout (with the same SKU) tasks to ATC and checkout

    When using the **Watch Task** option:

    1. Start your checkout task. It will display the message: **"Waiting for Monitor Ping."** This means it's ready and set up correctly
    2. When the Monitor task detects a restock, it will automatically trigger the checkout task (with the same SKU) to run

    If you leave the **Watch Task** checkbox **unchecked**, the checkout task will act independently. It will monitor the SKU itself, add the item to your cart, and checkout directly
