Choose PlayStation in Stellar 4.0 for PlayStation Direct tasks. You need a saved PlayStation account and its Login Token before setting up checkout. Monitor mode checks stock; Account mode uses your saved account to attempt an order.
Video Guide
Login troubleshooting video
This video shows an older Stellar interface. The browser login tips remain useful, but save the token under Accounts → PlayStation in 4.0. For browser login problems, try a fresh Chrome profile on your local connection without proxy-switching extensions. Follow the correct token method for your region.
Quick Start: Recommended Setup
- Prepare your account, profile and tested proxies. Check the region-specific address and payment guidance.
- For US accounts, obtain the Login Token using the linked Stellar extension; it is still required.
- Save the account in Accounts → PlayStation and configure the task’s OTP Input method.
- Create monitor and account tasks for the same product and use the matching Watch Task setup.
- Start when ready to purchase and monitor login, code and stock statuses.
Preliminary Checklist
- Prepare a checkout profile with accurate shipping, billing and payment information.
- Save the PlayStation account you intend to use and obtain a token for that same account. Do not reuse one account’s token for another.
- Prepare working ISP or residential proxies and check current release instructions.
- Find the full PlayStation Direct product URL for your region.
US orders use the address and payment card from your selected Stellar profile. EU orders use the profile address and the payment method saved in the PlayStation account. Check the appropriate details before starting.
Accounts & Sessions
Add your PlayStation account
- Open Accounts → PlayStation and select or create an account group.
- Choose Add Account. Enter a name, your account email and password.
- Enter the Login Token for that account using the instructions below, then save. The token is still required for US accounts even though the form does not mark the field with an asterisk.
- For bulk accounts, use the import format email;password;login token, with one account on each line. Review the imported accounts before assigning them to tasks.
Older videos may show Identities → Sessions → Add Session. In 4.0, use Accounts and Add Account. Saving credentials does not by itself mean the task has successfully logged in.
Get a US Login Token
Download the current US token extension: Stellar PS Direct US Login Token Extension V3
Follow the existing extension-installation walkthrough: here
- Use an up-to-date Google Chrome browser and log into the intended PlayStation Direct US account. A separate Chrome profile helps keep accounts distinct.
- Use the Stellar PS Direct US Login Token Extension V3 to obtain the account’s token. Follow the linked installation steps if the extension is not installed.
- Copy the resulting token into Login Token in Stellar’s saved PlayStation account. Keep the token private, like a password.
Do not sign out of the PlayStation browser account after obtaining its token; signing out invalidates it. You can close the tab or window. Account changes can also invalidate a token, so refresh it if login stops working rather than relying on a fixed expiry period.
Non-US cookie method
For the non-US setup described in this guide, use the NPSSO cookie method below. Keep the US extension workflow above separate from this process.
Install the cookie extension: EditThisCookie Extension
- Log into the intended PlayStation account in Chrome.
- Open the Sony cookie page linked below in that same browser session.
- Open EditThisCookie and find the NPSSO cookie. Copy its value; the page’s visible response is not the token to paste.
- Paste that value into Login Token for the matching account in Stellar. Do not sign out afterward.
Sony cookie page: https://ca.account.sony.com/api/v1/ssocookie
If you need to use the extension in an Incognito window, open Chrome’s Manage Extensions → Details for that extension and enable Allow in Incognito. Use a separate browser profile or session when obtaining a different account’s token.
OTP Input selects how Stellar receives verification codes. Prepare both the required US login token and the email-verification method before running Account mode.
Supported Modes
- monitor: Checks product availability.
- account: Uses the selected PlayStation account and profile for checkout.
Monitor Mode Breakdown
- Open a PlayStation task group and choose Create Task → monitor.
- Select the required Profile and your Monitor Proxy group.
- Paste the full Product URL for the item and region you want.
- Set Monitoring Delay and Reset Delay, then create the task. Reset Delay is the pause before monitoring resumes after detecting stock.
Name
Optional label to help you recognize this task. Use the product, account or purpose rather than leaving many tasks indistinguishable.
Mode
Select the mode named in this breakdown. Changing the mode changes the available fields and what the task does.
Start Time and End Time
Optional scheduling controls. Leave blank for manual timing. A scheduled task must still be started in Stellar; entering a start time does not start a stopped task.
Task Qty
The Qty at the bottom creates that many copies of the task. Use 1 while learning and check account limits before creating duplicates.
Profile
Required in the current Monitor form. Use the profile intended for this setup.
Monitor Proxy
Choose the tested proxy group used to check stock. Keep its requests and data use within the capacity of the proxy pool.
Product URL
The full PlayStation Direct product URL for the intended region.
Monitoring Delay
The form defaults to 3000 ms. The earlier recommendation is 4000–6000 ms.
Reset Delay
Pause before the Monitor resumes after a stock trigger. Use the retailer recommendation above, or leave optional values blank unless needed.
Account Mode Breakdown
- Choose Create Task → account.
- Select your Profile and Checkout Proxy group.
- Paste the same Product URL used by the Monitor task. Start with product Qty 1 and respect retailer limits.
- Select the saved PlayStation Account with the correct Login Token.
- Choose OTP Input if your login needs a one-time code: IMAP, Manual or AYCD. Configure the chosen method before starting. OTP Input does not replace the Login Token.
- Enable Watch Task for the Monitor-based setup. Leave Endless Mode off while learning.
- Review Delay and any scheduling, then create the task. Start the Monitor and Account tasks when you are ready to attempt a purchase.
For example, a Monitor watches the product URL below. An Account task using that same URL, your saved account and Watch Task enabled waits for the matching stock signal before attempting checkout. A Monitor task does not place the order itself.

Profile
For US, the profile supplies address and card. For EU, the profile supplies the address and the account supplies its saved payment method.
Checkout Proxy
Choose the tested proxy group used for login and checkout. Follow the retailer-specific proxy advice above.
Product URL
Use the same full product URL as the matching Monitor.
Qty
Units requested in one order. Begin with 1 and respect the product’s purchase limit. This is separate from the task-copy Qty at the bottom.
Account
Select the saved PlayStation account with its required login token. US login tokens are still required.
OTP Input
Choose the configured IMAP, Manual or AYCD code-retrieval method.
Delay
The form defaults to 3000 ms; the earlier recommendation is 4000–6000 ms.
Watch Task
Enable to wait for a matching running Monitor rather than have the checkout task monitor on its own. Product and fulfillment settings must match. A waiting status is normal until stock is detected.
Endless Mode
Leave off unless you intentionally want further orders after success.
FAQ & Release Preparation
Delays and optional settings
- Delay / Monitoring Delay: the current forms default to 3000 ms. The earlier guide recommends experimenting around 4000–6000 ms (four to six seconds). Treat that as a starting range, not a guarantee; follow current release instructions.
- Watch Task: enable it to use matching Monitor stock signals. Without Watch Task, the Account task performs its own stock checking and checkout, which uses proxy traffic.
- Endless Mode: leave off for a basic setup; continued operation after success may produce additional orders.
- Start Time / End Time: optional scheduling. Leave blank if you will start and stop tasks yourself.
- Product Qty is the number of units to request. The Qty at the bottom is the number of tasks created. Start with 1 for each.
Common Errors and Fixes
- Login fails: confirm the account email, password and token belong together. Obtain a new token if you signed out in the browser or changed account details.
- Verification code missing: check OTP Input and the mailbox or service it uses. A valid token does not prove the code-retrieval setup is ready.
- Waiting for stock: check the Monitor is running, both tasks use the same product URL and Watch Task is enabled.
- Address or payment problem: US tasks use the profile’s card and address; EU tasks use the profile address with the account’s saved payment method.
- Proxy errors: check your proxy group and try a working alternative instead of reducing delays repeatedly.
- When testing Account mode on a live product, remember that it may place a real order. Use only an item you intend to purchase.
